A garden in the Village in the City.
Our one acre community garden is located on the the far South Side of
We currently have two raised beds that are 12 feet in length. We would like to include two more raised beds so that more community vegetable gardeners will be able to grow crops.
Also, the walking path through the native plants was designed to have trellises for the roses that are planted in 5 spots. These trellises were designed to keep the memory of fallen Chicago Police officers from the 22nd district. The station was on the land that our current garden rests.

I love sitting in the Edna White Garden and just taking in the peaceful sway of the high grass.
The honey last year from the bee hives nearly cured all of my hayfever symptoms.
Thanks for all your hard work at the garden.
